Efficient handling of packaging waste
The bag is equipped with perforations, allowing air to escape easily during filling. This enables optimal use of the available volume. In addition, an integrated drawstring ensures that the bag can be closed quickly and securely after use. This combination of size, perforation and closure makes the product highly suitable for environments where packaging waste is continuously generated and efficiency in the collection process is key.
PPWR
An important aspect of this type of collection bag is its material composition. With the introduction of the European PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) Packaging waste – Environment – European Commission, there is a growing focus on the use of recycled materials in packaging and related products. In addition to being produced from LDPE, MDPE or HDPE, customers are increasingly requesting a share of recycled content in the formulation. Our 400-litre collection bags meet this demand, as they can be produced with 60% recycled content, consisting of 30% PIR and 30% PCR.
Recycling process
The combination of a large collection volume and recycled content aligns with the broader development within organisations to improve waste separation and further professionalise recycling processes. By collecting larger volumes of plastic in one go, internal logistics can be organised more efficiently, and the collected material is better prepared for further processing.
The growing demand for collection bags containing recycled material shows that regulations and practical application are increasingly aligned. As a result, the 400-litre collection bag is not only a practical solution on the work floor, but also part of a broader movement towards a circular use of plastics.
